The Big Gap is a comic strip created by Gannon Beck and Troy McDevitt.
Many of the characters that appear in their comics are inspired by people they knew growing up in Marine Corps families, or by their own experiences in the Marine Corps or as sons of Marines.
And sometimes it's just the product of their twisted senses of humor.
