![]() ![]() ![]() Odin was the rain God. He goes on to describe the weather at that point. Clear and not a cloud in the sky. The same as it was that day on Okinawa. He said that he stood up and with his armes outstretched toward the sky exclaimed in a roar, "Odin let it rain!" ![]() At that point he said that it had started raining. Now being your average Marines, we didn't believe this for a minute. He tried to convince us that he was telling the truth, but to no avail. Finally he stepped out the door and said, "I did it just like this," and with outstretched arms pointed to the sky he roared in his most fierce Marine voice, "ODIN LET IT RAIN!" Unbelievably it started to pour. I would have never believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. Semper Fi! Have a sea story you want to see published on our site? Send it here!
